A customer would pick up a product or several from a glass front refrigerated freezer or cooler, open rack display and scan the UPC bar code to pay at a cashless self-checkout kiosk. At Fresh Break Rooms we also use Micromart branded coolers/freezers which have AI recognition, smart anti-locks and payment on each unit rather than a kiosk. Regardless of the format, the experience is seamless.

Each location is monitored 24/7 with a security camera. The micro market is operates without an employee or Fresh Break Room agent present.

The minimum requirements include: a dedicated space in your facility for an employee break room, 100+ employees that frequent the facility at least 5 days a week, electricity with an outlet to power the kiosk on the cooler units and WIFI internet service with a secure high-speed broadband or DSL line.

Each micro market that Fresh Break Rooms installs may be different based on the location where it is placed. Additionally, many starting locations are installed with (1) Cooler, (1) Wire Rack and (1) Kiosk to begin. As the location volume increases additional equipment will evolve to support the location.

A larger and higher volume location may start out with one of our premium AI enabled coolers with a digital header. Fresh Break Rooms is making the investment in these locations, so these choices will be made based on need.

No worries, it's all good! Keep your vending machines if you like them. We are not vending and are able to provide a wide variety of fresh products that vending machines can not. Our products are offered in open glass coolers and self-service racks making them convenient. No coins or cash needed, our system is 100% cashless.
